I've NEVER seen a touch screen interface that doesn't slow down to absolute shyt within 5 years. iPads, android phones, etc.

What makes anyone think cars will keep these things from incurring some OD lag times in 5-10 years?

I don't have a luxury car, but my new civic is all touch screen. It works pretty good.

Barely use the touchscreen in my car. On the off chance that CarPlay isn't acting like complete and utter shyt I'll occasionally touch it.

Seems fine so far

Have a 2015 Dodge with touchscreen and it blacked out once until we restarted the car and it’s been fine ever since.
