Yooooooo I totally forgot about this damn show!the last WOTW I seen was the one with gabriel byrne,, its was okay/cool
I really liked it and I didn’t finish S2 or watch S3!
Didn’t even realize it’s on amazon prime! I’ll have to finish it now.

Maybe because I'm a fan of Ice Cube and found footage in general, I liked it, it wasn't the good but Cube's presence made it watchable for a one time watch; however, the main issues I had were that the movie had too many digitalized, CGI, AI sounds/voice effects that kinda take away from the movie and the found footage aspect.
Like the scene when he played an audio clip of his deceased wife, they used AI, c'mon they couldn't hire a real person to voice her for less than 15 seconds

I'm surprised Universal made this because the product quality was too cheap, even for being direct-to-streaming. The overall premise wasn't bad but the execution of it all wasn't very good, not enough suspense. It was too goofy and cheesy.

Eva Longoria and Ice Cube movie would have been a huge hit in the 2000s.
3.3 is generous.
I enjoyed all of the "War of the worlds" adaptations and I enjoyed the TV series that dropped a few years back as well.
I say that to say that I gave this a full watch off the strength of the other adaptions, but this one here? It was straight garbage lol

Genuinely one of the silliest movies I've ever watched
was all that shyt supposed to happen in a single day
The pacing definitely felt off because the u.s. army basically washed the aliens on day one lol. They should have finished the job while the aliens were collecting data from the data centers. Who greenlit this shyt
