They glossed over the history and legacy of institutionalized racism from a government level for a reason. It is the Washington Post.
The US loves to project it's neative qualities onto other countries and pretend that it's current and past negative history towards people of color don't exist.
That doesn't mean those other countries don't have them...but this is why I can't take American MSM seriousl anymore cause of their embelllishment of half-truths and avoidance of documented facts.

I've been to India twice, if you think the pictures are nasty, the smell is 10 times worse. Remember there is very little usable ground because the population is so high and the rate that poor people die, its not enough to keep up. The bodies are either burned or dumped. That water in the Ganges is basically toxic waste, and it's shocking how many people drink, piss, shyt and dump garbage in that water. Add that to the pestilence and vermin, it's not the best country to visit, I couldn't imagine living in that.
