This sounds like something Bruno didn't really wanna make, but the label was up his ass like "bruh you ain't dropped in a long time and you got hella debts to pay. Just make a record that you know will work, none of that super Black shyt you was on before." and Bruno was like "fine if that's you want I can make 9 songs like that in my sleep" and that's what he did. It ain't trash, but he was on auto pilot.

Have gotten if folks didnt hyper ridiculing by cosplaying vintage black music.
It worked really well for him and loved his previous two albums (not counting that collabo with Paak), significantly 24k - the man was in his superbag with that lp.
Now ten years since that joint, we get this.
Granted i only skimmed it, but he set the bar so damn high with 24.

Not as good as Silk Sonic or 24 Karat Magic but it's a good album. Cha Cha Cha to On My Soul is a great run of songs.
His last offerings I finished the whole albums in the first sitting. I think I listened to the first 3 since Friday and I haven’t returned yet.
The music sounds good sonically but it doesn’t have the sauce I’ve grown accustomed to.

This just doesn't have that 'it' his previous music had. Something is missing. Album isn't bad, but not good either...definition of mid.
Jury still out for me off first listen, just sounds like an extension of his Silk Sonic stuff
