Nope. Melo had one of the most highest usage rates (29.6%) in NBA history and only averaged four assists per game once despite dominating the ball for so many possessions. It's not even a competition between the two for that overrated fraud :mjlit:

I do find it funny that Melo was tagged as a "relic of the ball stopper early 2000s era who doesn't play smart basketball" while Brunson is lauded by NBA media as this revolutionary player that raises the ceiling of the Knicks :pachaha: :dead:
Brunson is more efficient with his but I don't think anyone has referred to his game as "smart"

When they lose he's the first person to get his backed kicked in, deservedly so, same with Melo

If Brunson goes his whole career not getting it done even tho this Knicks team is superior to anything Carmelo had, he will be looked at the same way and people will have the same gripes.

Y'all compare how people talk about someone who had a full career sample size with someone who's still actively building their resume and it makes no sense, the script could easily flip on Brunson before he's done playing

Imagine playing with him AND Luka in Dallas :scusthov:
Sit in the corner and wait for that grenade IF they pass it at all. They had to send one of them packing. Now they both gone and still ball stopping :dead:
This why porzingus left and wasn’t effective in Dallas.

If it wasn’t Luka’s turn to dribble the air out the ball it was Brunson

The irony is that you are actually making my point when it comes to idiotic fan criticism. That guy who has a full career sample size should not be diminished compared to a guy who's career who's book is not fully written yet. Brunon could have the same exact arc as Carmelo, but people never learn with outlandish praise while diminishing a hall of famer

Just a week ago when Knicks beat the Celtics, multiple Knicks fans on podcasts and on ESPN were saying Brunson is "already a better Knick than Patrick Ewing". These idiotic comments should be exposed for everyone to see and not be backtracked like you are doing
