I like him as a person, and I'm sure you do too, which is why the decision seems hard as hell, but in reality? It's not...

I call him Mr Positive Parenting. Everybody raves about how nice and kind he is as a juxtaposition to Urban Meyers teaching/parenting style of foot to ass. Look brehz. Our squad got our ass kicked. But we gotta think about those young men. Sure, it's disappointing and we can easily blame the coaches. But those dudes are down bad.
