Bryan Cranston cast as Lex Luthor?

I would have no issues with Cranston as Lex (or Mark strong either) and the age isn't a problem either because Lex has been depicted as being the me age as Superman to a few years older to being old enough o be Superman's father. So the casting of Luthor could range from early 30s to around 60ish.

I still personally think Matt Damon would be a good casting choice if he would be open to taking the role.

Better than Cranston? fukk no. Plus we need to stop giving these damn roles to fukking Brits, they need to stay in their damn country and do their films over there. I'm tired of seeing them doing terrible American accents taking on roles that wasn't even meant for them.

Cumberbatch could probably play any role more convincingly than anybody. Dude is the next DDL. You heard it here first.

But I don't want Heisenberg as Luthor. Just stop, guys. Strong would have been a great choice if he didn't already play Sinestro. I wish they didn't fukk the GL movie up because he would have been a mad muhfukkin Sinestro

Not gonna act like I can't defend my suggestion. What's wrong with the idea? He isn't old, famously bald, and his voice would add a more sinister shadow on Luthor. He's already physically capable of the part, including the fight scenes if any.

The glaring fault I see is he has no charisma for the public political parts.

I don't think he's THAT bad of an actor. Sure his card is F&F/XXX action movies but these guys are actors for a reason. But you have more room for error here. The films are all gonna be more action oriented so fleshing out the character will not be as deep as the comics or the TV series (provided they do one baddie per movie).

I just don't see it as that bad. I know we'll all be thinking "Dom!!" in the theater but I think he has a legit chance if he can do the acting right.

As for why famous bald people I don't know but I'm sure it helps people accept the casting better.
