No denying this will be an all-time classic if it happens. HBK is one of the few dudes who could probably look like he never lost a step after taking a few years off, and D-Bry would motivate him to give his best performance.

But I can't lie, in a lot of ways I hope he stays retired. It would be a cool thing for the industry if just once a legendary wrestler's retirement really meant something. Dude wrapped up his career a few years ago with a classic match and a classic Hall of Fame speech. One of the cleanest and most respectable endings to a career we've seen.

No doubt he'll be tempted when he sees Vince backing the Brink's truck into his driveway, though.

Taker will be involved in the storyline somehow which will tie into the Brock feud

something like Brock/HBK vs. Taker/Bryan at the Feb PPV

@Hoss, I feel pretty much the same way. But if HBK is going to come back for a match, at least he's putting over a student and not a Kliq member/someone who doesn't need the rub.

that's my GOAT and everything but Shawn jobs at Mania:pachaha:
there's also the assbackwards approach of putting someone over by having a nice match and defeating them ala Flair/Sting

As much as I want to see them have a match, it'd be cool to see HBK stick to his word and stay retired. Flair's retirement match with HBK at Mania was as classy as it gets but then he went to TNA and it ended up meaning nothing. Retirements in wrestling don't mean much, especially when Terry Funk is still having retirement matches but when there's broken-down guys in their 50's out on the Indies trying to make a living, it's nice to see a guy who retired when he wanted to, still healthy and with his money too.
