WWE SmackDown LIVE General Manager Daniel Bryan recently appeared as a guest on the Gorilla Position Podcast to promote this Sunday's blue brand exclusive pay-per-view, WWE Elimination Chamber.

Below are some of the highlights from the interview.

On if he thinks he'll ever return to the ring in the future:

"So, if you were to ask the WWE, the answer would be 'no.'"

On the possibility of his feud with The Miz getting physical:

"As far as I know, no. You know the one thing about this, in any form of entertainment or fighting, or sport, is 'never say, never,' right? I keep going to different things and I keep working on the doctor standpoint of it, 'Okay, is there anything that I can do more to get cleared?' and right now I've done everything I can possibly do, and so, but I still look at different things and still look at this and that. You know, It's- I dunno, it's an unfortunate scenario to me, but at the same time, I'm very grateful for the amount of time I that had being able to do this.

Kurt Angle recently appeared on "Busted Open" radio and when asked about the potential for wrestling again for WWE, he stated that while he and Triple H did not discuss a return to the ring, he believes it will happen.

The Tuesday, February 7th episode of WWE SmackDown LIVE averaged 2.627 million viewers on the USA Network, according to ShowbuzzDaily.com.

By comparison, last week's show finished with 2.817 million viewers, marking a decrease for this week's show, which was the "go-home" edition of the show ahead of the blue brand exclusive WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view this Sunday night in Phoenix, Arizona.

Earlier this week, former WWE performer Ricardo Rodriguez (Jesús Rodriguez) took to social media to share details about an unfortunate and dangerous incident he was the victim of.

Rodriguez took to his official Twitter page this past Tuesday, where he revealed that he was shot at by a gun while driving in his car.

If that didn't sound serious enough, the former personal Spanish ring announcer for Alberto Del Rio in WWE shared a photo of his vehicle that shows his back windshield shot out, indicating that bullets actually hit his car while he was driving.

Rodriguez wrote the following message to go with the aforementioned photo of the shot-out back windshield in his car.

"To the a$$hole that literally shot at us and took out my back window while driving.... F*CK YOU," wrote an understandably emotional Rodriguez.

Honestly Bray should win the belt at WM instead of EC

It's been such a long time coming for him and fans have wanted it for so long that it would be better for him to achieve that at Wrestlemania
