he has a good point. you don't have to be overtly celebratory, but just a bat flip, stare down the ball or bounce when stepping out of the box comes off iller to me.

i love it when players stare down a home run because they knew it was out the park as soon as they made contact and the pitcher just puts his head down or turn around in disgust. bonds and griffey were the best at that. not really a fan of sosa but his trot was always good too.

Im just trying understand the rational behind old heads wanting to keep the the game emotionless, and it goes back to basically them wanting to have control over players. Same rational behind the "unsportsmanlike penalties" and technical fouls in the NBA

U can get kicked out of the game for talking to an Ump... But no players.. So basically people are afraid of the unknown happening. Theres nothing stopping a player from hitting a home run and going

to the pitcher

So they're rather just say fukk it.. "no celebrations at all"

Exactly why I said what I did...do we really want to see celebrations like this in Baseball...of course the bat flip was epic and I don't really have a problem with that but every sport doesn't need to have the type of antics other sports have if that's what your looking for watch something else

I hate the sensitivity of these so called grown men. Can't celebrate home runs when up so many runs, can't steal bases when up so many runs, can't bunt to break up no hitters

Last year the Twins were down like 8-3 to the Cleveland Native Americans and someone hit a HR and pimped it and Molitor and Kurt Suzuki were yelling at him from the dugout. Is he supposed to act like it was a mistake? Feel bad for adding to the lead? Babe Ruth called his shot which is a big fuxk you to the pitcher. Satchel Paige pulled his defense off the field because he knew he was gonna strike out the side

Baseball is fun. They play 162 games and the leading Home Run hitters are in the 40's or low 50's. These dudes are hitting home runs in less than 60% of the games and I rarely see anyone pimp their shyt when it's not a big moment in the game. You hit one 450 feet, I'd sit there and watch it too.

So fukk Goose Gossage, fukk Brian McCann, fukk the right way to play baseball.
