Chill it's far from trash. Maybe a little underwhelming on the first play but I got to sit with it some more. It's still alright imo with some dope songs and some that are just not all that to me but as a whole it's far from trash.

Ross at least has tracks like tears of joy, idols, Scientology. Tiller is a terrible singer, songwriter, etc. He's not charismatic or interesting in the least. Literally nothing is redeemable outside production. The 6lack part is just basically these labels can sign the next generic harmonizer/rapper over 808 so there's nothing special about Tiller especially if his music continues to be mediocre

Ross isn't carried by production. Tho he has an ear, he can actually rap. This dude can't rap or sing especially well. Again, I'm late to the party so I'm probably missing something.

This is so empty and bland. There really isn't any standout on this. No Rambo, No Sorry Not Sorry. Just one long sound through 19 tracks.

I agree, Listening again now, I'm enjoying it. Definitely a nice late night vibe to it, he did his thing

Edit: It's actually from a loopmasters sample pack.

I guess these sample packs do end up being used in big time productions..wow.

Solid 3.8/5. If he a great producer by his side coaching him on songwriting and delivery it could have gone down as a great album. Good effort nonetheless.
