I was embarrassed as a Laker fan when management put up those billboards begging Dwight Howard to stay.

It's not really Dwight Howard's fault these GMs overvalue his marginal talent.

Dwight is a good player who could have been great but I don't think he ever decided to dedicate himself to improving his game and developing a real post game. We waited and waited for it to happen and now he's almost 30 with diminished athleticism and it seems like his body is starting to break down slowly but surely too. And it's a shame because he should be the best big man in the game with his talent and 25 and 15 should have been the minimum once he hit about age 25. Now his career is closer to the end then it is the beginning and he will go down as a disappointment when he is finished playing. Cause the year after he dominated Cleveland and took the Magic to the Finals he should have made it his goal to dominate like that every night.
