Very strong album. Had interscope chosen the right singles. Hootnanny with Justin Timberlake, She Tried, Nowhere.. with the Cry Me A River break... He would have been as popular as Eminem for a good while. (not as talented, but as popular)
There was a mix -tape 'album before the album' released a month earlier than Deliverance all produced by Timbaland that was amazing also. The best mixtape ever.

Has this album stood the test of time? I think just about....
Def a top 30 hiphop genre album of all time.

I dunno if I should trust the coli on this. Never checked for him when he dropped cuz the songs that were released on the radio/TV seem too southern and corny for me especially compared to what was out at the time

:patrice:

Imma trust yall on this and peep the album. Yall better not

Was called 'album before the album' all produced by Timbo and all new.
Had that Bubba version of 50 cent on it 'In Da Mudd' Think it was called that plus loads of others. Ms Jade, Attitude, Bubba, Timbo etc.

Exactly - as I said, the wrong singles were released.

great album, i wouldnt say he had a chance to be eminem popular because i think there was a degree of him not being given a fair shake simply because he wasnt eminem, but yeah you dont leave some of the potential singles he had sitting on the bench.

this the formula bubba you had it
why'd you have to keep it polo and new balance

he put his all into that album, it was great, and he sold less than the first album. then he fell into the same trap from the first album of stepping away from what works best for him though probably for different reasons. that crunk snap era sucked him in and he made way too many formulaic disposable songs on his 3rd album.

Thank you for posting Warrant.

I love this album, and Warrant (along with Deliverance) is my fav track.

Yeah, it was a dope album. I remember the advance version of "Nowhere" sounding different.
