Most likely scenario is that the Nets will have all 3 for the playoffs though. What’s the scheme for that? Any team will be vulnerable with stars missing

True dat so then the "scheme" defaults to if these dudes all playing together on limited time, have the chemistry to get it done in the playoffs. This is a Bucks core (sans Jrue) that has been together 3 years running, same with the core of the Sixers...

The Nets clearly don't have a coaching edge on these teams, so what you're hoping is that the top end talent is enough to carry you through. We've never seen that substantiated in teams with guys who had no history together with no coaching advantage...

Again my position the entire year has been the same on Brooklyn and I've seen nothing to reconsider. They can win it all, so can about 6 other teams this year. They have no clear separation between them and other contenders and I dont have the blind faith that a team thats never been together with a rookie coach, will just magically flip a switch in the playoffs against elite, well-coached opponents who arent afraid of them....

Im not gonna be fooled by regular season wins by the Bucks....

This is a fair enough point, however the '21 Bucks are better than the previous two versions. I've not betting anything on them either but I'm a whole lot more confident in their competitiveness this year than I ever was the last two years...

Jrue Giannis and Middleton. Without Harden, the Bucks have a better starting 5. That said, neither Middleton or Jrue are too 10 like Kyrie KD and Harden.

these morons act like the nets didnt gut their team to get harden :dead:

that original nets team without harden beats them in a 7 game series

Nets have some issues...

Match their scoring and you have a path to beat them...

They have no reliable third scorer if one of their 3 is out. They have no reliable, consistent playmaker without Beard. Their defense out of timeouts is pretty sorry, big lineups can punish them, they have a real turnover issue in contested games against elite opponents because no one else can generate offense, their crunch time defense is mid. Can't play DJ, no one else on this team can play d either...

Not gonna be easy to fulfill it over a series but if you have a defensive identity, they don't. If you can match scoring with them, you have a path...

Big lineups punish because Nash is using shytty lineups.

Kd, claxton, brown play defense. Nash didnt play the latter 2 much.

Thing is up to nash to play them and put the right lineups out there.

Chemistry is overrated in the playoffs, the team with the most superstar players are at an extreme advantage. I don’t think the Nets are unbeatable but if they have Harden KD and Kyrie playing then they should win the chip.

We've seen superstar duos and trios fall flat in playoff adversity. Don't forget 99% of yall were on Clips Nation last year and they certainly had the superstar advantage...

None of these things work without the right balance with the other. Having the superstar advantage but a lack of cohesion, or having one of those but inferior coaching, or having one of those with an inability to manage adversity, are all overrated without balance...

Nets will be fine in the sense they have way better than a punchers chance given the top end talent they'll take in likely any series. Then that's where we'll see if they have everything else...

Two elite players in KD and Kyrie and yet they still need Harden to win the title imo
:gucci:THEY TRADED THEIR DEPTH
FOR HARDEN AND DINWIDDIE
WENT DOWN FOR THE SEASON.

YOU WOULD HAVE A POINT
IF THIS WAS THE TEAM
THEY STARTED THE SEASON WITH.
