Say word :ohhh:
So I take it youre in the Charlotte area as well. That show had a helluva lineup, Apollo Brown, Marco Polo, Statik Selektah, Skyzoo, Reks, Termanology, J-Live, Dynas :whew:
Naw I live in Ga, just drove up with my homie who flew into Charlotte. That lineup was crazy I stayed on the Balcony the whole time, after his set Scram Jones came up and was checking out the rest of the show.

Both legends, but Diamond could easily be seen as a Top 10 of all-time producer, if people really know their sh*t.

Buck has a lot of joints, but Diamond's catalogue is way too deep with classics.

On that particular topic I was listening to the song posted below last week, although i own the CD I had NO idea Diamond did it.
I bought the Shadez of Lingo album back when Rainbow Music on 125th used sell the promo cds for $2
That was back when the Source magazine still mattered. A lot of 3 & 3 1/2 mic cds were in that bin.

Anyway

Buckwild.
Definitely the more versatile producer.

HOWEVER. Diamond D catalogue is fukking DEEP. And he was popping way before Buckwild came about.

Yeah, he did almost 1/2 of the album. He was doing a lot of work with Dallas Austin's groups back then. This was right around the same time he did the stuff with Illegal. Diamond was on mad albums back then. Dude was getting calls from everyone!
