We need to stop this "real hip hop" defense and or angle, and stop acting like everyone doesn't reach for more of a fan base. Tupac was doing movies with cacs, c00ning it about as a back up dancer, and was selling out to Versace. Cube was living a pretend image of some kind of west coast gangster, and LL focused on movies so hard, people have forgotten he was a rap legend...
Having fire bars is one thing, but anyone can spit fire, ultimately the atmosphere of hip hop is to get money from several facets. Joe releases one record about being a socially conscious rapper and his budden bytches go nuts...bruh, go listen to some Kendrick or Cole...they have entire albums about it.
