So what is your stance on eastern relegions and how are they any worse
Did you even read the damn exchange before you felt the need to speak for him or are you bruh alias or something? Either way the pork chop preachers here and those dharamic gurus are one in the same to me. I said that already.
Them dharamic gurus just hustling no difference than alot of these pork chop preachers here in the states. Came across one pimp guru who litterally sits on a golden thrown infront of his audience but you believe he's better than Creflo dollar and not one in the same.

Buddhism is such a weak religion

All religions are

But Buddhism basically makes u a shell

And u suppose to not have any desire
Yet you spend your life desiring not to have them

Which defeats the purpose
Exactly.

Yep! Used to teach this in my World Religions 101 intro class.

There's Theravada and Mahayana Buddhism and it can get kinda complicated when you get into boddhistavas and the concept of Nirvana. But it's a cool spiritual path.

Besides Christianity I think Hinduism is my favorite tho.

Tat tvam asi
Atman is Brahman. Such a beautiful concept.:wow:

What do you call the feeling you have for your mother or the family members/friends your have an attachment to?....

I don't think you know what desire means

Desire
/dəˈzī(ə)r/
noun
  1. 1.
a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen.

love
/ləv/
noun
  1. 1.
an intense feeling of deep affection.

Af·fec·tion
/əˈfekSH(ə)n/
noun
  1. 1.
a gentle feeling of fondness or liking.
You can detach yourself from love and still care for people. Life isn't black and white :yeshrug:

I did but I wasn't following you at first but now I seem to understand.I can't agree with your stance though because you're going after the preachers and not the actually religion itself. I don't follow figure heads just the teachings

No people overlook logic when it comes to religion

U don't seem to understand
And u don't want to
But if it makes u happy
That's your desire :ld:

this is bhuddism in a nutshell. Nothing complex about it
nah

genuine happiness and true happiness are different.

Genuine happiness is fleeting and True happiness can never be obtained. It dawned on me, we're genuinely happy because we HAVE. We have something that makes happy by adding/attaching itself to us it's then amplified if we give said thing value/importance. We might be happy because we have a car, have a job, have warm food, clean water, friends, a lover, but take that all away are we still going to be happy? Happiness happens because have things given to us, strip that away and at the core there's nothing. True happiness can only be obtained when you have nothing. Nothing added or given to you, just you by yourself and your thoughts and actions. Which is why almost all religions tell people to denounce themselves of the material world if they want true happiness.
