i havent read the comics but im pretty sure the actors age wouldnt match up with most of those story lines anyway. i guess its going to be buffy as the older slayer/watcher. i feel better overall about it since its not a straight reboot, which makes me wonder how much of the original cast will show up. i'm on board but you gotta strike that balance of new and nostalgia.

sara been playing variations on buffy her whole career so she will probably do a good job

but it wiill be how the "teenage" aspect of the show is protrayed Gen Alpha in media is cringe and honestly most of them are punks....

making them dynamic and intreasting to watch as a returning viewer going to be a challenge


if the show just a bunch call backs it will only last one season and if its a new show it might lose it core fan base...
