:heh: at you getting the song title wrong in the thread title lol

Its funny as Prodigy was like :dwillhuh: when he found out that Nas dissed him on this track :dead:

Song is a classic though, that KRS sample on the hook :ohlawd:

Its arguable he was on some :pacspit: tip on "These are our heroes" though.

Lets at least be honest about the beat though. Not wack like ether but far from a great instrumental.

That's what happens when you hire the keyboard utilizing Beatminerz reject Baby Paul in 2001.

between destroy and rebuild, ether and his classic interview on power 105 going at flex and the rest of the industry, he was on some epic one-man wrecking crew shyt. he really mellowed out after his moms passed.

he actually, for a moment, had me believing in him again. but then he began to be him again.

that is true. If Nas moms never passed on, there would have been a lot of nikkas commit suicide. Nas was like that angry father that was mad at his children for acting up when he was temporarily gone. Destroy and Rebuild was even more potent than Ether cause a lot of cats, especially Cormega, got exposed as bum ass dudes that are mentally trapped in the projects.

^^^^false. Cormega proved to be one of the savviest indie hustlers in NYC, released two classic indie albums, one of which absolutely sonned Nas to oblivion and is SIGNIFICANTLY stronger than Stillmatic, got the rights back from Def Jam to release his shelved debut etc etc.

Cormega is not to be played with. You Nas fukkboys kill me.
