When you build a computer do you have to put it together yourself or does the company do it for you?

Nope. I've stated several times on here i had bad experience with Intel and AMD has been good to me. Plus AMD is the best to OC and its cheaper then Intel CPU's with not much of difference in performance for the price differential. And please tell which items im overpaying for...Newegg has the best deals aside from a few items that were like $15 cheaper which i dont mind the difference there.
breh, put the allegiances aside. I usually don't care what people go for...but $1,300 for an AMD build is ridiculous

I love AMD, but you should go Intel with that budget.

Depends on who you buying it from and what you're buying ...
if you're getting parts then you assemble yourself
If you're on the dell/hp/etc site and you're configuring, they're doing it
Is it also cheaper to do it that way on the dell site etc?

What about newsegg? Do you have to assemble it yourself?

Newegg is primary for DIYers (assemble yourself) ... although they do sell some systems but those are usually as is ... I'm not gonna front besides a laptop I got in September, I havent purchased a preaasemble PC since '97. The last store bought PC was a gateway I got in '93 ... 486SX25 .....

Software aside you get better bang for the buck when you assemble your own...

i cant breh :sadcam:

Im telling u i've had bad luck with Intels. From the i-3 to the i-7. I know they have better performance with gaming do to better single thread performance, but AMD is a beast when it comes to multi-tasking which is something i do alot as well. AMD builds suits my needs. Plus their gaming rigs aren't bad, they just arent as good as Intel. But the difference isnt drastic enough for me to change back to Intel.

Top of the line? You could blow half that budget on a top of the line graphics card. Hell over half.

:camby: I said if you dont care about the difference between 98 fps and 99 fps you can

if you cant build a computer that will run 30+ fps over 60 fps on any game out currently or in the near future you just suck at building computers :manny:

BRUH

if you spend $1200 on an AMD build you are losing BAD

AMD processors are for budget builds honestly...

AMD cards are great im not slighting those (I still prefer nvidia but wont knock anyone getting a nice AMD card)

but their processors are trash for gaming for any computer over $600 (rough estimate) honestly..
