My setup is half way done right now so I don't have many pictures. Here's an old one from my apartment though. Played a shyt ton of Halo 3 on that bytch:
HC1500 projector @ 120"
2xPolk R50 floorstanding speakers
2xPolk R150 bookcase speakers
1xPolk CS125 center channel
Onkyo SR604 receiver
I upgraded the receiver, gotta new TV, new sub, added some home automation shyt, and got in wall speakers throughout the house. Once I finish my basement next year I'll get a new projector, new speakers, and a whole house audio system.

I got about over 5000 on a bulb. I'm still using the same bulb from when I first got the projector. Plus bulbs are pretty cheap, maybe 150 every 5 years.
Trust me breh, don't even worry about the bulb just get one. A PJ will make a 50" look like an iPhone screen in comparison

Yeah, it needs to be light controlled. I just got some black out curtains from Walmart for about $20 and that's all I needed. Just close the curtains whenever you wanna use it

Here's the thing, do i really need a receiver with Wifi, Bluetooth, all these extra features that I'll probably never use? Probably not, just an HQ unit that just puts out great, quality sound and none of that other unnecessary shyt. Even if its an older model. I know I may be held back by my speakers but at the moment, something that will pair nicely with them will due. My room size is about 14'x17' with no windows and 4 recessed lights.
