Not entirely related but I'm still :patrice: about Saleh as our DC.
his propensity for playing very soft in two minute or similar situations is maddening. now, a lot of DCs depend greatly on talent, and we are in the middle of a rebuild and re-scheme
so yea Im willing to give him time, and we did fix the biggest weakness from last year which was run D, but Im not sure hes a long-term solution at DC

they gotta rewatch that whole falcons game where nate clements fumbled a pick and made us lose a game we woulda won if he just gave himself up
I was at that game. Game started off good. Our first drive we were moving the ball and scored. Then we stopped Atlanta deep in their own territory and made them punt from their goal line and we ended up blocking the punt the scoring a touchdown. We ain’t score another damn point. The Nate Clements shyt was the definition of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

I hope Foster can stay healthy. dudes a beast but so fragile...I know there are more pressing needs but I really feel like we can do better than coyle/harold next to him and it will elevate our midrange defense which good qbs usually have a field day with
Just watching the LB’s play is maddening. Besides Foster, they’re all pretty much washed. If we can draft somebody to play alongside Foster, it would make our defense soooooo much better. I can’t tell you how many times I see LB’s too slow to the gap or getting beat to the edge.

Oren Burks (Vanderbilt) or Darious Leonard (South Carolina State) could be potential draft picks that we could easily acquire with one of our 3rd rounders. Quite frankly, this year is kinda flush with inside linebackers hell we could find value on the 3rd day. There aren't any elite talents, imo, but there's quite a few choices that could be system fits.

The defense kind of came together in the last few weeks, I think he may get another year.

Oh, I think he for sure gets another year. I'm just iffy about if he's any good. He was able to stop the bleeding against the run though :patrice:

jags are too aggressive for their own good

they bit way too hard on play action passes in a game where we werent running the ball all that well

whoever did the scouting for them for this game failed. the #1 thing against any kyle shanahan teams is to never bite hard against the play action unless hes absolutely gashing you on the ground and you kinda have to
