brock signed without even meeting the coach staff

that was on ownership and the gm and apparently their mad cause he benched him

That's what I mean. They are going to let the coach take the L for that one. I don't like O'Brien all too much but seems like a pretty decent coach. He really shouldn't be fired regardless of what happens.

I want McDaniels and whichever GM he's comfortable with. Trade for Guwop with two 2's and we bike:blessed:

No :picard: We shouldn't be trading any picks unless they're mid round picks. We need all the picks we can get. Gurappolo could be another Cassel for all we know. I'd rather commit to getting our starter in the draft.

What do people see in Garrappolo(sp?) What am I missing?

Caucasian and had a really good few games with the Pats. I remember Matt Flynn balling out with the Packers. I'm worried about giving up a lot for a QB coming out of that system.

As much as I want Kap back its not happening. I think Guwop can be a franchise QB in the right system. McDaniels runs that system. Hes poised in the pocket. Good mobility. Can make all the throws. He's seasoned and ready if you look at his tape. I dont trust any rookie coming out this year. I think McDaniels can peel him from :beli: without getting fleeced :manny:

Pats aren't going to give him up if the return isn't good. A team that has so many holes really shouldn't be trading multiple picks for a non-proven QB.

A second pick in this years draft and another 2 from next year is plenty. We gave up Alex for that and he was a playoff QB at the time. Look at his games as a starter. He has it. I also don't think we're as talent deficient as everyone thinks. We have a solid Oline and a D with pieces. A good draft and some impact free agent pickups we in business.

thats way too much for a guy approaching free agency, you have to factor that as well

the cupboard is bare at inside and outside lb

the cupboard is even more bare at wr

they cant be trading draft picks unless there able to sign free agents which i highly doubt at this point, players simply dont wanna come here and it doesnt help that jed has had 4 head coaches in 4 years.

Exactly. We need a lot. Why are we trading a bunch of high picks? If this is going to be a real rebuild, we need to hang onto those picks. We should be able to draft a QB who can start at some point this upcoming year or at least next year. Which means we'll need a bridge QB. That can either be Kap or we go out and find one that will sign for a couple years. Would rather do that than give a bunch of picks for Jimmy then have to roll out the brinks truck to pay him.

I forgot about his contract. Def would have to adjust the trade offer but the idea is sound if we pick up McDaniels. Also I think the free agents won't come here thing is a non issue because the main culprit is gone. Baalke was the main problem. Hes had issues with Kap, Crabtree, AD, ect. Hes turned off coaches. I think us having a clean slate with a up and coming GM and a good coach will solve those issues

my main issue with the team is i dont know how they can improve unless its from the draft, this whole we gotta a lot of money in free agency doesnt mean much cause bad teams always have a lot of cap space, its all about attracting fa's

is mcdaniels going to attract fa's? people still remember his disaster in denver

is there a coach out there that can change the culture here? i just dont think so at this point

would i do a second and a fourth for grap? i think so because the niners could trade down and recoup that second round pick pretty easily

i want barnett, he would solve a lot of the pass rushing issues we have here
