I don’t wanna watch 15 minutes of this Freddie Roach lookin CAC bad mouthing a Black man who is no longer here to defend himself or give his side of things. Can anyone summarize this shyt?
He actually says repeatedly in this and other segments that they were extremely close and their on screen chemistry was real because they were truly friends. He says that Merlin was ahead of his time and had all kinds of James Bond gadgets on his whips and trained in various martial arts and was into testing his fighting out in real life. He says a lot of Hollywood actors were and are on steroids. He also says Merlin showed him how cops would harass him because he was young, black and driving nice cars and how white people don’t know what it’s like for black men until they’re in situations with them to witness it themselves.
