So does the universe explode if the Spurs end up playing the Clippers in the playoffs?
NO, did you read what I wrote?

I said NO ONE in the west has a chance of beating clippers OR spurs.

A Clippers vs Spurs matchup is literally a toss up, but I would give the edge to the Spurs. I don't underestimate Chris Pauls ability though, he can have a "Lebron" type impact on the game at times, which means Clippers would win the series.

Whether Golden State plays Clippers or Spurs, Golden State has no chance. Golden State is not a title contender, you will see once the playoffs come around.

Spurs or Clippers would beat golden state in 4 or 5 games.

Is Rondo done????
Rondo is not done

His game is just not suited for the league.

The fringe triple doubles with the inability to shoot is what rondo kinda always been. But the game has changed and kinda left the rondo kind of players behind. Same reason Kenneth faried and Tony Allen games have regressed where as before, what they did was valued. If your not a scoring threat you will not prosper much in this league. In the playoffs teams are going to give rondo 30 ft of space and dare him to shoot. He cooked vs the cavs because they had no rim protection, but if we face a team that has a rim protector , rondo will be useless and fred hoiberg better bury rondo or we going home early on the playoffs as we will lose a lot of games down the stretch just because rondo is on the floor.

This nikka :mjlol:

The warriors are the best team in the league with the best two players. Clippers just got beat by the nets a few games ago, the spurs will fodder in the post season per usual .

Saw the game yesterday. Bulls are a pretty good team :ehh:. I saw they exposed some holes in the Cavs team. This is an Eastern Conference preview IMO

- Bulls have a huge frontline that the Cavs were having problems with. Robin Lopez, Mirotic, and Gibson were pushing the Cavs around with rebounds and scoring with ease in the paint. Love, Frye and Thompson were getting abused all night

- Their frontline prevents Cavs from playing small ball, which is where they are the best at. Lebron can't play the 5 or even the 4 against the Bulls :mjlol:

- Jimmy Butler can defend Lebron pretty well

- Wade is playing lights out, which would cancel out JR Smith's effectiveness

- The only advantage they have is the 3 (Lebron) and the 1 (Irving)

- Bulls have three, count em THREE playmakers in the starting line up. Rondo, Butler, and Wade. Besides Lebron, there isn't much playmaking the Cavs had. And we all know Kyrie ain't gonna pass :yeshrug:

With all that being said, I still think the Cavs would still win the series in 7... barely. But the Cavs can't be playing around

Similar to the OKC vs Warriors last year. OKC had Warriors number, until they goofed up the series
But Wade isn't Durant though

:russell: so how do you feel writing all this bullshyt knowing that Lebron is going to his 8th finals in a row

Point still stands, we don't have reliable depth. Niko and doug production Last night was a aberration not the norm, if they could give us 14-17 ppg consistently off the bench we would be a top team in the league damn near, but they gave good production last night, now it will be another 2-3 weeks before we see games like that from both of them again. Our depth stinks, cavs in a playoff series will have player after player outside of lebron hitting big shots, after wade and jimmy we have no one. Especially when you consider our guys who are supposed to be our 3 pt threats, suddenly can't shoot 3s and having career lows in that department across the board.

Fun to imagine, but maybe once we add a couple pieces in the off season, at the deadline, etc maybe we revisit this conversation, but this season, not even worth talking about,
