Nah, they don't need those two to "save" them from a team they already dusted more than once in the playoffs. It just makes it even easier

Im not a Pacers fan by the way, I just think they are the best team right now.
Pacers are the best team in the league right now, it might not be close. They got the Granger expiring contract as a trade chip, and I have no doubt if they feel like they're one piece away from a title, they'll be aggressive in making a big move. Too bad they already moved their first round pick in the Scola deal, but I think Rondo or Deron would be someone they'd go after hardcore if they become available, Rondo seems more plausible though.
Why would Deron Williams become available
If the Nets disappoint, he's gotta be the one to take the fall this time. Deron needs to play like a franchise PG and he hasn't. He's not playing well at all right now, he's either injury prone or lazy and I'm not sure which is worst. With that talent, they should be competing to be the best team in the conference if he were playing up to his expected capabilities as being the 1b to Chris Paul in regards to top point guards in this league when in reality he's soft as dough, lazy, and lucky to be in the conversation for top 10 point guards.

Pacers need a PG who can spot up shoot and defend. PG is the defacto PG anyway

GH would have to be apart of the trade, i doubt boston would do a 1 for 1 swap with rondo and granger, with granger's injury history. Rondo has way more value.
