there was no "bullying" in my school - dudes would roast each other and if somebody took it too far, they squared up

but bullying to me is when people put hands on you, or try to physically intimidate you everyday and you just sit there and take it

I hate the word bullying because I feel like it minimizes whats really happening. Because when a kid says they are bullied I feel like people dont take it seriously. Kids today are straight up being harassed. Following people around making fun of them, or making fun of them when they walk by, hitting people, picking fights over little shyt. Its one thing to check someone whos done you wrong. But I look at people who go out of their way to ruin someone's day or humiliate them as weird. Just bothering people for fun is some psycho shyt to me. Like the kids who do those 'hood pranks', go to events just to pick fights with people, or doing that stupid "put em in a coffin" or "smack cam" is crazy.

im mexican, i went to school during the 90s in yonkers, ny. from kindergarden up until high school, i was the only mexican kid in all my classes, i was poor as fukk and had some of the worst grades.

i had to fight almost every month , i got a reputation as a weird lunatic which worked out for me i learned very early that teachers don't give a shyt and that i was on my own

once i hit high school though i found my style, started makin money and gettin fresh, the dominican hoes started to noticed me, but me going through what i went through, i developed a very closed protective way of thinking

initially when broads would approach me to flirt . . . . . id be on some "who sent you?!"

Public Schools in America are basically prisons except you don't have to live there. Seriously, they don't offer or teach you anything but how to be complacent.
No wonder why it becomes a free for all, everyone is bored not learning shyt with nothing to do. just like a jail lol

I was guilty of poppin shyt, roastin mogs. Never was with putting my hands on people. fukk that

I did it so bad to one kid he fukked around got up and flipped his desk and walked out the class

Senior year tho we ended up being cool.

Is bullying super prevalent like that in our communities tho? I went to quite a few different schools growing up, some mixed ones and some ratchet ass all Black ones. Looking back I don’t really recall that much bullying in the traditional sense at the all Black schools. Yeah Black kids are mean AF to each other, you’ll get roasted for anything from your outfit to your parents being broke. But that’s where it stopped, you wasn’t about to put your hands on someone else outside of a square off because even tho you may think their weak or lame, everybody was from somewhere and you could very well end up fighting they whole hood or even worse somebody mama/pops/older bro/cousin would be outside waiting for you after class. Even if you didn’t like that dude, if he rode your bus or was from your street, you wasn’t about to just sit there while somebody else not from your street fukks with him, because that made all y’all look bad.
