All of this is mad corny.

But these days, dudes think beefing will help their sales.

The Kendrick effect only works for Kendrick.
I mean manufactured beef has been a hip hop staple since the "real Roxanne".

2002 and up was the WOAT with heads trying to one up their trash ass beefs, while the legit battle raps were under the radar. (Word to Jada and beans).

We came a long way from Bow Wow vs 50 Cent so be grateful :manny:

"Fein Fein Fein Fein"

*Something lyrical spiritual that doesn't make sense given the content of his song*

"ITS LIT"

*Nonsensical singing*

"Scrrrr scrrrrrrr"

*Beat gets epic and louder because it carries the fact that Travis not saying shyt*

Nah. That was real beef.

U.T.F.O. went to Marley's day job at the factory looking for him with knives and guns because they said he bit their song. Shante said girls jumped her over the record because they thought she was dissing. That wasn't manufactured. That was actual street sh*t going on because they felt Marley stole their sh*t. You could die back then over biting, lol.

What's going on today is mad different.

Back then, people didn't run to the studio when they had beef with you. They would go find you.

Look at the Keith Murray and Prodigy situation. Those two dudes had people pulling out weapons at NYC clubs, and would be hitting each other over the heads with bottles and all kinds of wild sh*t. They chased Prodigy out of the club one night and ended up getting arrested. Redman went looking for Mobb in QB by himself at night. It was street sh*t back then. The records were definitely secondary. HAHA!!

Got me thinking about all those rumors from the 90s concerning diss records, and rappers wanting to have a conversation :whoa:

I doubt Cyhi would pen a diss towards Push due to the GOOD Music connection.
In one of those recent Push interviews he gave the perception of not giving care about that crew anymore, it would be one sided if Cyhi still felt some type of loyalty imo.

Q-Tip got jumped by Posse Deep because of a line that Phife said on "The Jazz", about New Jack Swing.

They put dude in the hospital. He said his eye still isn't the same. That's why he wore the mask in the "Hot Sex" video. Back in the day, people didn't run to make a record, when they had issues with dudes. They would squad up and go look for you. LOL!! Golden era sh*t.
