All that's been said is it's(expansion packs) "extra" content on PS4 will be exclusive until fall 2015,not a "YEAR" later e.g. 2016. Besides that we have NO context of what the DLC will entail and whatnot.

The other day 1 PS4 exclusive content is what it is, exclusive PS4 content. This isn't new. Watchdogs has exclusive PS4 content that nobody made a peep about. ACIV had exclusive PS4 content nobody cared about.

You were never "paying" for something to wait until a year later to get. That's what I'm trying to get to you guys. You're not paying for ANYTHING extra and then having to wait a "year" late to use it.

Day 1 you're getting Destiny with all it's core content while Ps4 get the same shyt with exclusive free content for PS4. A year later you can then "choose" to buy the extra dlc content i suppose.

The expansion pass same thing, you get a bulk of new content same day as PS4 owners while they again get extra content that you know will get unlocked months later.

Trying to move the goalpost to "well it's longer then before!" is pathetic entitlement issues. It's not that big of a deal. PS3 owners were getting shafted for an entire gen with shoddy ports, late DLC's, broken games(skyrim) etc. Now that Xbox is getting a DLC later than everyone else people want to go up in arms?? Over some weapon skins and a map?

I'd rather get something eventually than to never get it at all due to moneyhats(Titanfall, Platinum's Xbox One game, etc.)
Can't expect Sony not to fight fire with fire.

UPDATE 23/6/14 5.05pm Activision has contacted Eurogamer again to retract it's earlier comments and state that, for now, it has yet to formally announce any details regarding the Destiny content's timed exclusivity.

UPDATE 23/6/14 1.15pm Activision has told Eurogamer that Destiny's PlayStation-exclusive content will remain exclusive until "fall 2015".

As previously reported below, retailers had hinted that Bungie's DLC missions and extras were only a timed-exclusive for PlayStation platforms.

Destiny is due to be released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on 9th September 2014, meaning that Sony and Activision's agreement will run for a full year.

Earlier this month, Sony detailed the exclusive content PlayStation owners would get when the game launches - in other words, what Xbox gamers wouldn't. A co-op mission, a competitive multiplayer map, armour, guns and ships are included.

The Dust Palace Strike will see you hunting a Cabal extraction team through a ruined Martian skyscraper, while the Exodus Blue Competitive map is set on a derelict spaceship.

Three armour sets and two weapons - the Monte Carlo assault rifle and the Hawkmoon hand cannon - plus three ship variants will also be available only on PlayStation.

tbh i hate all this console exclusive content in multi-platform games shyt, never understood it, especially when people already own their console of choice, doesn't seem like a unit moving idea to me(which I guess it really isn't but that's the only reason I can think of procuring exclusive ANYTHING). It just doesn't seem that important to worry about to me. Would worry more about exclusive games than anything. That's just me though man, I have a quad though so I'll be contemplating this over my extra content.
