All platform holders work with devs to meet performance goals.

You just gonna ignore Phil DEMANDING resolution parity regardless of the compromises that have to be made so that XB1 games can have the same resolution as PS4 games?

For the Xbone to keep up with the PS4, sacrifices have to be made whether it be resolution or frame rate. If shyt's this bad already, just imagine the gap between the 2 consoles 2-3 years into their life cycles after developers really get a handle on the hardware. Games Phantom Pain finna stress and expose this very issue.

Have not seen anything about demands being made. They said from jump they would help devs learn the system better.

You don't think Sony is pushing/helping devs reach performance goals?

"shyt this bad" is already closer than games were at the start of last gen. Devs have said over and over again that the gap isn't much and will close. We are now seeing this with games like destiny, and Wolfenstien.

They haven't had to. If that were the case, why was BF4 only 900p on the PS4? There have only been 3 sub 1080p games on the PS4 so far: BF4, UFC, and Watchdogs. Every other game is 1080p. So obviously it's not a case of devs needing Sony to make it happen since haven't needed the help from Sony so far.... :ld:

Sony has engineers out helping people. They've been riding the strongest console narrative and have been pushing/helping devs make 1080p so they can seem better than the competition.

Diablo on X1 performs better than Most 1080p 60fps games on PS4. Devs have been willing to drop resolution for the sake of framerate on X1, but they have not done so on PS4. Plenty of PS4 games would benefit from a lower resolution, but Sony is pushing that devs don't do that.

Tiled resources allocate more bandwidth to the secret gpu tucked inside the Esram which gives you better looking floor tile textures in game.
