I doubt even Trump-friendly ones want the heat that comes with going through with this.

Trump is all bluster and hot air.

Some governors will either refuse or delay, except for those who are outright stans. There's a huge group who are politically savvy enough to know that Trump's authority is nil and that they don't have enough political cover to say they were just following orders - parallels galore there - so who knows which way they'll jump.

The "bluster and hot air" thing is gamble you don't want to make. There's a group of MPs on it's way in to DC from Bragg. Anybody who's dated one will tell you: you don't hope for the best with a sociopath-narcissist like this, you plan for absolute disaster.
