The LAPD goes above and beyond making themselves look shady and corrupt as all hell. I'd love to see a journalist document and provide an article on the top 10 most suspect police departments in this country. Kinda like how you see top 10 murder count cities, or top 10 prison gangs, etc.. The LAPD would have to rank the highest as the most potentially criminal police department in the US.

edit post: To illustrate how corrupt they are, how many movies have portrayed LAPD cops as being crooked? At least a few, right? Then the marine/former LAPD officer who started targeting them a couple years back? Remember that? Plenty of people, both minorities and whites were saying he probably had some legitimate grievances considering it's the LAPD.
