so fba built all the roads and buildings in Washington DC, i'm not just talking about the white house and other monuments, but Im including all the malls, shopping centers, metros, sewers, cbds etc. all the infrastructure that we see today, were only built by fbas?

isn't the archetect of DC some french dude anyways?
chocalate city book

Yes enslaved and free Black Americans were instrumental in the cultural and physical development of DC.

you also cannot claim that places like big African cities were all created 100% by indigenous Africans because that just isn't true. Plenty of European, Chinese, Indians, Arabs were involved in the development of cities like Abidjan, Lagos, etc.

I'm just trying to be fair here breh :hubie:

No city in the USA was recently built by only one ethnicity. Washington D.C. design was helped by a Black American though. The blueprints were made with the help of a Black American.

Now, I don't support all of this discussion about what is going on in African Countries by my own countrymen. To be quite frank, I still posit that we should not care about what other people are doing in their own country. That being said, I do not accept slander of my own people either. Also, are you over in those countries you are so proud of, or are you in some non-African country yourself, that you actually immigrated into instead of being dragged there like my ancestors were?
Benjamin Banneker designed DC himself. there is no way he "helped". no one remembers missing blueprints or architectural drafts unless they either are a genius with photographic memory, or the original designer.

This is a thread to shyt on Nigerians.

That said tether beef aside, the wasted potential of Nigeria is insane ( Nigerians will tell you the same). That place should literally be the "Giant" of Africa, and at WORST be a Brazil type country where corruption and poverty exist but they at least have a fundamentally functioning society, but Nigeria and much of West Africa is literally the "Wild Wild West".
I feel like the French African countries are slightly better off, but I have only seen Senegal and Ivory Coast, not sure how the rest is

He helped, because he was not the only one who designed the city. Just a bit of research would show you this.

"Pierre Charles L'Enfant

Grand Avenues: The Story of Pierre Charles L'Enfant, the French Visionary Who Designed Washington, D.C. In 1791, George Washington asked Pierre Charles L'Enfant, who had been a French volunteer during the American Revolution, to design a new federal city on the Potomac for the young republic."

I am proud of my people, but I will not lie about what our contributions were. I will not state we did something alone, when we did not. That is what WS does.
