Hey it was Old. They played there 25 years.

Just like the Falcons were Demolished when they were Up 25 in the Super Bowl.

25 years isn’t old. Lambeau and a lot of college stadiums are almost 60 years old.

All they had to do was upgrade it. Now we have a billion dollar stadium that forced the closure of a 100 year old black church in a black neighborhood that’s about to drive the property values up of everything and force my people out of that area.

25 years isn't old for a stadium, ridiculous how Atlanta got rid of Turner Field and Georgia dome two stadiums

Well they didn't get rid of Turner Field. Georgia State turned it into their new football field after the Braves left for Marietta (I don't care what anyone says, the area they're in is Marietta, not Atlanta  )

Turner Field has been repurposed as a football stadium for Georgia State University, Turner Field was originally Olympic Stadium when we had the Olympics in 96 so we didn't get rid of Turner Field. They're actually gonna redevelop that whole area around what was Turner Field now with student housing, retail, shopping, etc.

Im not a fan of gentrification in a lot of areas.......................but Vine City that mufukka needs some help. If im not going to a game the only reason to be there is to hit Busy Bee Cafe and get the hell out. You cant have an area like that right outside of two sports arenas. Best thing would have been to make sure that the city cut a deal that any development there had to include some percentage of affordable housing, and actually enforce it unlike whats going on with the Belt Line.

If we wanted more big time events like Super Bowls, SEC Championship games, National Title games, Final 4s, etc...we needed a new stadium. They werent going to come back for the GA Dome.
