Gotta find the slim silver lining somehow. Look at it this way, when World War 3 kicks off and the bombs start falling, it'll be cacs who will die most now. It used to bug me out considering how many black people lived in urban areas when they'd hit major cities. With gentrification underway it'll be them that gets to watch some atoms split over their head. Once chaos ensues, those remnants they couldn't price out gonna be real

Basically, I live on the south side of town and them cacs movin up Penn Ave, Minnesota Ave, Branch Ave...I see a lady jogging at night down MLK, by that school by Anacostia station.
NYC is no different, soon they'll start tearing down PJs and put up condos that'll price out most of the original resisdents. I think I saw an article a while back saying they doing this nation wide to a lot of inner city project housing...

I dont think that'll happen tho. Maybe to a degree, but again, people are attracted to NYC b/c of it's diversity. The cultures, the foods, the variety, hearing other languages, etc. If the majority of blacks, latinos, other immigrants and descendants of immigrants cant afford to live there anymore, then the cultures will all die out. The attractiveness will be gone

As much of a shyt hole as NYC was back in the 1970s and 1980s...it had way more of soul than it does now.
Pretty soon NYC will just be the eastcoast San Francisco....which is to say....cool city...but fukk if anyone can afford to live there but rich white people and asians and nerds.

Like rents in NYC went up the highest out of any city in the country....it's bad when the average apartment price for a one bedroom in Brooklyn rivals Manhattan prices.
