- Two groups that were staples in their eras (even though, admittedly, never dropped real classics as groups) with LoNS and Flipmode
- Came up in the toughest era and made a mark/got respect.

I always say I get why he's not on people's lists and he's not in my top 10 (he's approx 15-20) but I would never argue against anybody claiming him as the GOAT.

@Soymuscle Mike
I was re-looking for your quote.

I feel ashamed for not thinking of Busta lately. He is totally in one of my two top ten lists.
The one for actual greats music + sustained success as opposed to just music.

- L. o. n. s
- Oh my God
- Stretch and Bob
- Higher learning
- wo ha plus odb remix and both videos
- classic tracks
- abandon ship
- everything remains raw
- big hits that count
- longevity
- him cool with Biggie and at his funeral
- I got bass
- transitions
- this new comeback like he took hip hop back like a man. Literally the man of hip hop this year

Busta is just pure Hip Hop
Just awestruck love for him thats all.

Ive been revisiting his music

It all fukking aged well

Its true feel good music

- In the ghetto?

fukk man

Busta is fukking great. Period!

Love the album, Busta killed it! Beats are mostly banging and the guests did they thing. Didn't think Busta had it in him still, but he definitely delivered.

No disrespect, but why does the albumcover look so much like Kool Keith's Octagon pt. 2, though?

coincidence. timing. various reasons this is not a ripoff of kool keith but still ANOTHER thing to add to the list of things people coincidentally stole from Keith :pachaha:

Ill have a listen because I always liked Busta. Didnt want to check on this because the last couple of things I heard from him were bad (Vybz track, Nicki Minaj track and mostly the drug kingpin persona). But seems it took it back from what I read here so why not.

if you're in a Busta thread calling people old you prob shouldnt have come in here or even peeped the album. clearly its not from your era and you had to be there for it to make sense.

I'm 31 I've listened to and enjoyed the majority of his albums I gave my personal opinion on an album that I listened to and didn't really enjoy

He's in his 40s so I called him an old fukk

I see nothing wrong with any of my points

What are the Grimiest most hardcore L.o.n.s tracks?

I remember seeing a magazine photo of them in the woods and thought they were rugged.

Then I say this pta video and it looked like high school fun.

Im prolly mistaken but asking for someone to put me on to l.o.n.s thank you.

btw

Busta is back in my top ten. He was out because I feel he drifted too far out from his core sound so stopped checking him.

....only for him to bring everything back with ele2. To the point Ive been listening to Busta 1996 - 2009 singles all this past week.

He is the King of Hip Hop for 2020 and that says alot!

He is like 2020s saviour...but we all know Hip Hop delivered this year very highly!
