Stove God, OT, J Doe and Roc Marc were all part of his last project in 2015.

I am aware of all of this. Still not an excuse to have zero appearances on the crew leader/label CEO'S showcase album. There's no justifying it.

Everywhere...You never there.
Hyped for this album. Been listening to a lot of Busta's early shyt again recently, son was really something else in his prime.
DJ Scratch and Nottz used to lace that man something SERIOUS you hear me?!!! :damn:

both incredibly underrated beat makers ... Nottz has mad a bit of a resurgence lately . Pound for pound one of the best beat makers imo.

Absolutely. Ever since Dilla passed (RIP), Nottz became your favorite producer's favorite producer.

Absolute savage. And it's a shame he doesn't;t promote his owns joints more. He did a sleeper of an album with Bumpy Knuckles last year, and full albums of fire with Blu, Mickey Factz, and NapsNdreads too. I just got put onto one he did with Royce from 2015 that I missed some how.

Nottz is a monster on the beats. I remember his Rhythm Roulette episode. Some producers go on there and struggle to make one dope beat and Nottz made 6 or 7.

The one with Royce was mostly leftovers from different projects unfortunately. I would love to see them both lock in properly.

Hopefully one day Nottz does a full album with an A Tier artist so it gets the proper respect.

I could be way off but I get the vibe that Nottz is the type of dude that’s content with just making beats non stop even if they never get vocals recorded to. I read an article that he made over 1700 beats in 2017. I mean Madlib and Alchemist are work horses but I’m not even sure they’re making that many beats annually.

It’s a total guess. I could be wrong. It’s hard to get a read on him because he’s been one of my favorite producers since ELE 1 and I think the only interviews I’ve ever seen of him are a Red Bull music academy lecture, a scratch magazine interview, and maybe 1 or 2 short things on YouTube. Even in the long Red Bull video his answers are short and he doesn’t say much.

Nottz might even be a more private person than Madlib. And his rap persona is the total opposite. Very loud and aggressive (kind of like how Dilla was)
