Does he own the rights is the question just because you made it doesn’t mean he still has the rights also this song not gonna make moneyWhat was this? A song with just 8 bars and a hook? Lol
He made the beat
I don't care if he owns rights or not, he is the one who made the beat, that's my whole point.Does he own the rights is the question just because you made it doesn’t mean he still has the rights also this song not gonna make money
I would feel fine because legally I was covered lol fukk type of logic is that. It’s 2023 if he doesn’t own the rights what that gotta do with me if I have the desire to use it? You paying everybody that ever made something or you paying directly to whoever has the rights to clear/ok the song/project?I don't care if he owns rights or not, he is the one who made the beat, that's my whole point.
How would u feel if some one just stole something from you and then justified it with saying you have no legal proof it was yours???
You might be right if you count his stint in Leaders of the New SchoolDoes Busta wear the crown for having the longest active mainstream career in rap?
Dude is still mainstream active on a regular basis.
Dr. Dre is no longer active.
So do you know if he owns rights or is your whole argument based off an ASSUMPTION that he doesn't own rights?I would feel fine because legally I was covered lol fukk type of logic is that. Pretty much how I feel. It’s one of the better obviously sampled tracks. It also helps that you have two artists that can actually rap on it (yes even Coi Leray) instead of Saweetie.I hate this trend of straight jacking 90s/00s hits, but this was pretty solid. Not that I'd listen to it again, but I can see people liking it.
What argument? I asked in this thread if he owns the rights. If he does he should and probably will get paid (even though this song won’t make money)So do you know if he owns rights or is your whole argument based off an ASSUMPTION that he doesn't own rights?
we've become the old heads who hatred on puff/others sampling 60/70/80s hitsPretty much how I feel. It’s one of the better obviously sampled tracks. It also helps that you have two artists that can actually rap on it (yes even Coi Leray) instead of Saweetie.
