He can be clutch when he has to be(not enough time to pass the ball before the clock expires) but naturally he wants to dish the ball in those situations.
I think what most people mean when they say he isn't clutch is that he has the tendency to shy away from the big shot unless he is forced to do it. If he had the same killer instinct as Kobe and Jordan he'd be damn near unstoppable in crunch time.
That occasional timidness that he displays is why I don't think he belongs in the conversation with the true assassins who don't give a fukk

Dumb thread.. Clutch isn't defined by how many buzzer beaters u have.. It's how many times u hit a shot down 5 or up 5.. It's how many plays u make during crucial moments down the stretch and inside 5 minutes..
Far too many times lebron has choked & has played terribly his whole career in those moments... 2011 Finals was an all time choke job but there's been plenty of other moments.

Not saying Lebron is not clutch but this is a stupid ass stat. There are many shots MJ has hit with like 10 seconds or more than 5 but less than 10.

This is, no doubt, impressive but let's not forget he's had the ball in his hand exclusively since he was 18 years old. His numbers will be far greater than everyone else's, but as far as skill and revolutionizing the game he's not the GOAT.
He will be the best athlete to ever play hands down.
