My personal guess is, the real deal ainge is trying pull off is sending maybe crowder, one of philly picks and okafor to the bulls, while boston keeps that bkn pick.

If the deal rumored to be is true, that's basically boston gave up both brk picks for jimmy. That is really hard to believe.

Part of me feels this is all talk, ainge might have picked up the phone put in the call to garpax to try and use one if philly assets to pry jimmy from them rather than use those bkn picks, might have been what all the commotion was at the deadline too.

fukk trading for Jimmy Butler. Especially for both Brooklyn picks? Celtics need to let Jaylen Brown play. He could be Jimmy with the right development. If Philly wants to trade #3 and the Lakers pick to move up to #1 fine, do that, but ain't no way we trading all these picks for Jimmy Butler. I'd take an old ass Wade for JR bum ass any day of the week

Unless it's part of a move where the Cavs pick up a different 3-and-D guard to replace JR, how the hell would Wade work? At his age and health level he's going to be more of a liability on defense, he doesn't stretch the floor as much, they don't need another ballhandler/scorer on a team with Lebron-Kyrie-Love unless they're moving to some sort of motion offense....he could be a spark off the bench that would help the 2nd unit survive without Lebron, but that means you'd be trading your starting SG for a backup SG.

Wade is just not a good fit at this stage of his career as long as Kyrie is on the team.

That's actually exactly what they could do with him, but that's not doing much for you unless you're trading Kyrie for someone else.

But in that hypothetical world where they trade away Love and Irving for Butler and George....
