The GTX 1080 is not a 1080p card, the GTX 1060 is.

The 1070 is for 1440p 60ps, the 1080 is for 1440p 144hz and 4K 30.

The GTX 1080 Ti is a 4K card.

Once again, stop chasing "ultra" when most of those settings have no real discernible effect on the quality on graphics.

You're taking a performance hit for the sake just for bragging rights

Welp, Cigavelli said enough. Your system sounds good enough othwrwise, so that's all you need. I would go on game and online preference. Or get one, then the other eventually.

thing is i already have all the consoles, sony sent me the ps4 pro for free when i already had a ps4 i bought, i was dissapointed by the ps4 pro, and don't wanna buy a xbox one x n be dissapointed again (especially seeing as i can't get that one for free) so im just trying to game on par to xbox one x or better

i know a guy selling 1080 for £500, ill have to get him to mail it to usa which will cost about another £30. debating if i should dip in with the deal. is there much that can go wrong with a used graphics card?

I chose a 1070 and upgraded my gpu.

The XB1X is a great buy if you don't already have a PC, but Microsoft doesn't have the library to support it at the moment which is why I just said f'it and built a PC last year.

this is what is making me think go wit the 1070, im a massive xbox fan but at the moment there are no great exclusives,

problem is though, xbox store is wild expensive compared to going to the store n buying games for an xbox console.
