Riding around in a 392 or a Hellcat in Detroit is risky business and potentially hazardous to your health.
Whenever I'm going back to Detroit to visit my sister (she lives on 7 mile) I drive my Nissan...call me scary if you want to...
From what i know from real world experience.
The catalytic convertor theft shyt started in Detroit.
My cousin went with her husband back to tha d.
This was some years ago for a funeral.
My cousin married a guy who is like defensive nose tackle sized.
Where he only physically can sit or fits like three cars ever made.
On some hightower in police academy come to life shyt.
So they hit the road from va.
to his hometown of detroit in his dodge van. The old joint that was atypically brown.
They make it to detroit.
Before getting settled in have to make a grocery run. So he sends my cousin and she runs to the grocier.
for some knick knack type shyt.
females make an excuse to shop and spend money on.
In again.
One of only three cars ever made This nikka can fit in.
She stops at the store.
Runs in the store.
Was only in there for a few minutes she said.
When she came back out to drive away.
The van sounded horrific she said.
She got nervous because who wouldn't.
You just borrowed someone's car.
Where it now sounds in no way.
like how you left it.
So she drives the van back to the rest.
Then wraps her mind around how to speak to her husband about the noize.
When she pulls up. Her husband is outside. Everyone is outside because of the noise.
They all stepped outside to see what this noise was they heard so far away in the house blocks away.
Turns out it was my cousin.
She hops out and oh of course her husband is looking and hearing like wtf.
Come to find out. Someone stole the catalytic convertor right off the van in the parking lot at the store.
This was before the craze. So just to hear that then was like wtf is detroit on. When it comes to cars.
I mean it makes sense. Detroit is the car mecca if you think about it.
