This. I made a bunch of new friends on PSN when I copped a PS3 back in 2010. I knew more people in real life with 360's at the time but within a year I had a lot of Sohh/Coli brehs, randoms I met online. Heck I even met a cute chick online playing Uncharted . Still to this day i'm cool with her.

Nobody in this thread said that it's a negative for consumers. I don't care if a company is desperate, I was simply elaborating on why stans were saying it's a desperate move. It's really common sense, but his reply seemed to dismiss that.
