It's one of those games where if you don't play it, it's EXTREMELY difficult to understand what's going on. Very complex, very fun game.

Honestly I hate playing online fps on consoles...its just a whole different mindset over there. Mostly team objectives are ignored until the very end unless you find yourself with a group of experienced players.
Trying to play BFBC2 on the 360 and the PS3 was a mess because I could not count on my team to do a damn thing. Everyone was still playing with the CoD mentality. It was either dominate because you are on the better team or get crushed because you are on a team in which does not help each other.
I remember on that level in BFBC2 in where the sniper tower can be accessed...tell me why more than half my team was standing in that shyt with sniper rifles...WHILE ON OFFENSE trying to take out the M-COMS

PC gaming has always been social because it was the first platform you could play against other people online. Especially when VOIP applications came out like Roger Wilco, Ventrilo, Teamspeak and shyt like that, Counter-strike had in-game voice too before most games. I mean, WoW raids used to require 40 people working together, it's just your friends are more likely to have an xbox then a high performance PC.Steam revolutionized the social aspect of PC gaming

I am not sure if it was BF3 or BFBC2 but this dude was attaching it to vehicles, throwing it all over the ground while still on his feet and shooting everything in sight. I couldn't believe my eyes and shyt breh. He even had a bit in where he was strategically ending dogfights by jumping out of the air as soon as the planes hit (while they had dynamite attached to them)
I am pretty sure it was BFBC2 vietnam. I still haven't seen a better gameplay montage than that one. He once jumped out of a chopper throwing bombs took out a couple of tanks, like 6 enemies on the ground, no scoped someone, shotgun kill, then ended with a pistol kill
I think @Malta knows what I am talking about.
People like this are the scary ones, the ones who take you out with a pistol with precision on the ground while you are in the air.
Once you play an online fps and get over the learning curve there really is no going back

yeah, but it also has me spoiled with the ability to move your head independant of your body, and the mini-zoom. that stance adjust shyt is pretty cool too
the thing with arma is that pretty much every key does something. they had to use 'insert' for the journal in DayZ cause pretty much every other key was already assigned. the game has a pretty complicated system for controlling an AI squad, but it's just in the way when you're not playing with an AI squad
the controls now are actually a little more friendly compared to arma II. it uses more 'traditional' PC FPS controls now, like holding 'shift' to run, and having one key to toggle standing and crouching. never the less it takes some getting used to, plus there's no tutorial in the alpha/beta
