I suspect the apparently decline of whites will slow, if not stop altogether, in the coming decades because whiteness will adapt. A large chunk of Hispanics already identify as “white”, and that percentage increases amongst second and third generation Hispanics.

As intermarriage between them and non-Hispanic whites continues, they’ll eventually be welcomed into the fold of “whiteness” just as the Irish, Italians, and Jews before them were eventually brought into the fold.

just white hispanics who are already in the fold. you can't make some brown amerindian mexican a white man just because. it's the rubios and cruzs who are already white europeans (via cuba) and their fellow iberian devin nunes. irish and italians actually have white skin, the looking down on them by WASPS was about elitism and religion, not racism.
