so if you've gained success from buying property, which I applaud you for. why would you put someone else off doing the same thing?I have been a property owner for 10+ years now. I actually have 2 houses now, with one being a rental.
I assume you have 6+ certs right![]()
Yeah I'm 28 and I surpassed OP's statement at age 26. I busted my ass since 18 though, didn't fukk around with what I wanted to do, and had good support during school from my parents. I bought a townhouse at a good price and now its a rental property for me. Helped me tremendously with my taxes this year that I owned property since Im not married, no kids, and in a high income bracket. But buying property is a big decision that must be thought out carefully. My bank approved me for over double the amount of what I actually purchased my property for. I knew I didn't need or want an outrageous mortgage.I'm 36 and I surpassed that shyt years ago.....
I know right. I remember in the early 2000's my moms was telling me I needed to walk into offices and apply for jobs in person so they could put a name with a face. I told her that wasn't even feasible then. it certainly isn't feasible now.
security would boot you out the office like jazz on fresh prince.
but this is coming from someone who basically had one job her entire life which was as a teacher, so she didn't know shyt about looking for a job.
My mom knows what's up. But she has been working the same job(government child protective services worker for almost 30 years now, she has walked into the same buliding everyday for the last 30 fukking years).
that fukking ponzi scheme social security that most of us are paying into is some horseshyt. it doesn't have enough people paying in to it compared to who is receiving the money. I wish I could opt outta that bullshyt.
man, I just found it very ironic that someone like my moms was trying to give advice on how to find a job when she's only had one job her entire adult life. she ain't looked for a job since the early 70's. and she been retired for the last 8 years now.
What career/job do you have? What career should people pursue? Your post is sort of depressing considering where I'm at in life:
I'm 30 years old and am unemployed/broke. I only have 30 dollars in my savings account. I live with my mother and I graduated this past December with a two year degree in Business Management. I have 60,000 in student loan debt I have to pay back as well.
Take the financial and educational advice you get from some TLR posters with a grain of salt, especially that DrX character. If you majored in a STEM field, did internships and held a solid GPA your starting salary should be around 60-70k and even more in some fields.
Around 70% of households do not make that. That's combined incomes.
