What plan is that?

Going into his fourth season as Pelicans coach and has fielded one of the worst teams in the NBA the past two seasons. A lot of GMs would have been fired him to save face. Monty got in a situation in NO well they are giving him a ton of leeway to rebuild the team after CP3 and even gave him a nice extension last summer. Coaches would kill to have that kind of commitment. Though if the team hovers in lottery territory again next season I'm sure the heat on him will begin to start getting hotter.
