That roster is not that bad, especially when Varejao was healthy. Scott killed those players in practice and training camp like Scott Skiles used too, and he never preached defense his entire time there. If anything, Byron probably contributed to the insane amount of injuries they had this season. They just got tired of him and gave up.

My thing is if you're gonna give him a 4 year contract to coach a team that's starting from the basement of the league you should at least let him see it out. I don't think Byron Scott had done a particularly great job in Cleveland, but if Gilbert expected more out what's been on the roster for the past 3 seasons he's on one.

Well, honestly, he's a good coach. That was a roach squad to begin with.

They paid him well because of his credentials, but he is too young to be potentially out of the coaching game for good.

His only shot at a good job is the Lakers, otherwise, he'll only get sucker gigs from here on out.....

But at the end of the day homey still should be caked up and will probably find a way to stay getting cake, even if its with bum gigs, so what do I know
