Honestly it's a complicated issue cause it depends on what types of hispanics/latinos we're talking about. I got a lot of dominican blood. My dominican ancestry is spanish, african, and native Caribbean. Problem is, just because someone is "hispanic" doesn't mean they have african blood.

Plenty of white blue eyed blonde haired spaniards came over an fukked natives and it's certainly possible none of those people have any african blood.

I grew up with people calling me/saying "nikka" as a harmless colloquialism, but honestly the word itself is pretty ignorant imo to be throwing around as an adult. The older I've gotten, I see more stupid white kids throwing it around than any black or hispanic person.

I acknowledge and I'm very proud of my african heritage (as small as it may be) but I don't think it gives you a pass for using the word, and I'm confident most people would assume I'm hispanic and not black. There's people you'd say are "white" that are technically part african, but it doesn't mean they should run around calling people nikkas.
