As a Latina, I can honestly say I have said the N word. I'd never call someone that, or ever use it as a racial slur though.
The only times I've ever used it, I was asked to.

People of other ethnicities use slurs towards each other, they just don't normally do it in public like we do. I've heard gays call each other queers at Wal-Mart, I've heard an Irish dude call another Irish man a dumb mick, and back in high school i heard a white looking latino curse out a darker latino and call him a dirty wet back.

If a latino person who was heavily into hip-hop culture, was a good guy, was aware of racism and its problems, was a good friend to me, and wanted to refer to me as "nikka"...
I wouldn't really be that upset, cause at that point he's not trying to offend.
But if any random person came up to me and said "what's mah nikka" like as if they even know me, then fukk them tbh.
And here's one thing I want to ask; If there's a rich black person that doesn't deal with or relate to the struggles of the average black person, should he really be allowed to say the N word? Like, hell, lets use Will Smith's children as an example. Should they be saying it?
Like I ain't trying to police black people or trying to pull some repsectability politcs bs, I'm just wondering, that's all.
